The San Bartolomé City Council has announced the improvement of the facilities in the parking area, garage and changing rooms of the Local Police force. According to a statement issued by the council, the work will be carried out by the company Transporte y Excavaciones Tiagua S.L, with an amount of 188,116.01 euros and will last for four months.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, explained that the council is "continuing with the work of modernizing municipal infrastructures, fulfilling the objective of providing the municipality with renovated facilities."

In this way, the San Bartolomé City Council "will extend the existing piece to locate new changing rooms and two toilets with showers," as announced in a press release.

Likewise, the municipal body has warned that it will carry out a reform inside the garage space through the relocation and improvement of the space. The outdoor parking area will have a shaded area by means of a metal canopy for the parking of vehicles, two electric recharging points and a washing area.

The San Bartolomé City Council has thus ensured that the Local Police officers "have renovated facilities where they can carry out their work in the best possible way. This action responds to their needs and highlights the great work they do in protecting the municipality on a daily basis," the council defended.
