The candidate of the Popular Party for the Mayor of San Bartolomé, Pedro Reyes, promised before the residents of Playa Honda to be "a close mayor, a worthy person, of whom the residents can be proud". Reyes assured that during the last years of co-government "he has always been at the service of the citizens, attentive to their demands and needs", in opposition to the attitude of other candidates who, in the opinion of the popular candidate, "only address the residents in elections to ask for their vote and then disappear, forgetting their promises".
The number two on the list of the Popular Party, Ángeles Millán, was in charge of analyzing the management carried out by the Popular Party during this term in Playa Honda and in the area of Social Services, highlighting the creation of the District Council "which has allowed the City Council to get closer to the residents and carry out procedures in more flexible hours". The improvement of the safety and cleanliness of Guasimeta beach; the children's nursery, which according to the popular candidate "will be launched before the end of the year"; the home help program; the Day Center for the Elderly and "the improvement of the playgrounds" were some of the initiatives that the popular candidates highlighted as achievements of the Popular Party in the municipality of San Bartolomé.
New projects
Pedro Reyes defended that the project of the Popular Party is based on "making the commitments with the citizens a reality", pointing out within his priorities "the construction of a residence for the elderly and the implementation of laundry and food delivery services for the elderly", in addition, Reyes added the importance of the "weekend family respite service as a relief for families who have elderly people in their care".
The popular candidate also advocated for "the creation of a Health Center capable of providing a quality service to the more than 12,000 people who live in Playa Honda and a new school for infants and primary school in Playa Honda and San Bartolomé".
The economic model of the Popular Party
The candidate of the Popular Party for the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Francisco Cabrera, and the candidate for the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Loly Luzardo, supported the candidate with their interventions where they highlighted the economic model of the PP in other Autonomous Communities. Thus, Francisco Cabrera, highlighted in his intervention that the Popular Party is synonymous "of rigorous, serious and transparent management", a model for which Cabrera asked for the support of the citizens "since it is the only way to guarantee that the money of the Cabildo, the money of everyone, is destined to the people of Lanzarote and their needs"
The candidate for the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Loly Luzardo, was convinced "that the Popular Party will win the next elections because the citizens know that our project works wherever it is applied, because it is a solidarity project, which defends freedom, values, and because it is the same for the entire State". "The Canary Islands needs Soria and the program of the Popular Party", said Luzardo, adding that "that is the only way for us to be on par with cities as prosperous as Las Palmas, Valencia or Madrid".
