The Ministry of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands has approved the definitive lists of participation in the selective procedure for admission to the body of teachers convened by Order of March 2, 2022.

In total, there are 10,389 people admitted (compared to 186 excluded) who submitted 13,618 applications, of which 13,413 were admitted and 205 excluded. The difference is because the same person could apply for up to two different specialties.

The lists of those participating in the shift by disability reserve have also been published, as well as the headquarters of the Court, the date, time and place of the beginning of the selective procedure and the beginning of the first test of the opposition phase.

The tests will take place on June 18 and will be carried out in centers in Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma and Fuerteventura.

However, due to the high number of applicants in different specialties, and to guarantee their development, in some cases it has been decided to distribute the courts of the same specialty for the celebration of the first exam among several centers. In these cases, the rest of the tests will be carried out in a different center from the one that appears in the list of admitted and excluded people.

The time slots in which the applicants must appear at the headquarters of the corresponding Court will depend on the scheduled start time and the letter by which the first surname begins.

When the exam is scheduled for 9:00 a.m., from V to D, they must appear at 7:45 a.m.; from E to L, at 8:00 a.m., and from M to U, at 8:15 a.m. At 8:30 a.m., the rules for the development of the tests will be provided and then the drawing of the topics for the development of part B of the first test will take place.

In cases where the start of the exam is scheduled for 4:30 p.m., applicants must appear at 3:15 p.m. if the first letter of the surname begins between the letters V and D; at 3:30 p.m., from E to L, and at 3:45 p.m., from M to U.

The list of the courts distributed in several centers, as well as the lists of admitted people and the rest of the information, can be consulted on the website of the Government of the Canary Islands.
