The new islander political federation Juntos por Lanzarote is now officially registered with the Ministerio del Interior. It was this past Tuesday, April 22, when the political formation became part of the list of political parties on the island.
The registration in the Political Parties Register, dependent on the Directorate General of Interior Policy, is an indispensable requirement for political formations to be able to make their birth public.
After months of waiting, Juntos por Lanzarote, chaired by Jerónimo Robayna Hernández, is now official. This project is formed by different municipalist parties of Lanzarote and will have its tax domicile in Yaiza.
Despite the fact that the municipal parties that comprise them will continue to maintain their structure in the different localities of the island, this federation of parties can run in the elections to the Cabildo de Lanzarote scheduled for 2027.
Juntos por Lanzarote is formed by the party of Unidos por Yaiza, chaired by the mayor of the municipality Óscar Noda, as well as by Primero Teguise, and by Marea Viva.
