The Local Committee of the Canarian Coalition in Yaiza denounces the "bad political practice" of the southern mayor, Óscar Noda, for making use of "practices typical of past times" to obtain support.
According to the secretary of the Local Committee, Mateo Ramón, “these are old policies in which support is sought in exchange for certain commitments, in order to carry out a series of political movements.”
As Ramón assures, “we already suspected that what happened at the end of the last term was not a coincidence, but now all our suspicions have been confirmed.”
For his part, after learning the content of the decree published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas, which approves the appointment of eventual personnel, the CC spokesperson in the City Council, Emilio Machín, emphasizes that “it is very sad that you have to resort to agreeing to an exchange of favors to achieve your goal of staying in the mayor's office, while you boast of honesty and transparency.”
