Ástrid Pérez appoints Jacobo Medina as advisor in the Arrecife City Council

The Popular Party maintains that Medina will continue with his functions "as coordinator and interlocutor of the PP in the Cabildo of Lanzarote"

The mayoress of Arrecife has appointed the councilor of the Cabildo and general secretary of the PP, Jacobo Medina, as the new advisor to the Arrecife City Council.

This Friday, November 19, Ástrid Pérez signed the decree by which she "orders the appointment, as eventual, trusted personnel, of Mr. Jacobo Medina González, with the remuneration established for this personnel, according to the Plenary Agreement, for group A, subgroup A2".

In this way, Ástrid Perez assures that she "strengthens her team of confidence in Arrecife with Jacobo Medina, her strong man in the Cabildo, and thus supports the area that she herself has assumed of Finance." According to the City Council, with this appointment, the Mayoress intends to "unblock the areas of Finance and expedite payment to suppliers, modernize municipal administrative management and purify the transparency of the City Council."

Likewise, they add from the Consistory that Medina "will continue with his functions as coordinator and interlocutor of the PP in the Cabildo of Lanzarote, and will carry the baton of initiatives and proposals of the PP from the opposition."

In this way, Ástrid Pérez adds that she "strengthens the areas of the Arrecife City Council", after the dismissal of the PSOE councilors, who from the PP maintain that "they have disarmed areas such as Finance with zero management for two years".
