Arrecife will have two new hotels by 2025, according to the City Council. "The capital of Lanzarote continues to attract investments linked to tourism," said the mayor of the city, who added that the capital "led in 2023 the creation of employment linked to the hospitality, commerce and consumption sectors."

One of them is being built next to the Islas Canarias Park. It is a seven-story building that will house a small design boutique hotel focused on family tourism. "The property, a Lanzarote company, currently manages a luxury hotel in the capital, which is a symbol for Arrecife," he says.

The first mayor has highlighted that "Arrecife has a great future and companies are planning investments in the tourism sector in addition to hospitality, commerce and logistics." With these two new openings, Arrecife is becoming "a pole that attracts investments linked to the main economic sector of Lanzarote and the Canary Islands," he added.

The second establishment will be located in the area near Cuatro Esquinas, near the Charco de San Ginés, one of the symbols of Arrecife. It is the place chosen by investors for the construction of a design accommodation establishment focused on urban tourism and that will go on a plot where old houses previously existed.

Finally, the Consistory recalls that "last autumn Arrecife opened a small boutique hotel next to the José Ramírez Cerdá Park."
