The Argana Compulsory Education Center and the Adult Center have become part of the Arrecife City Council's concierge service, according to the Councilor for Education, Ascensión Toledo Hernández. Thus, "we cover all the educational centers" dependent on the capital's City Council, the councilor assured, explaining that these did not have this service until now.
This announcement took place on Monday morning when the Councilor for Education signed with the representative of the company to which the service has been awarded, José Antonio Bermúdez de León, the start of a contract to offer this service in the infant and primary schools and adult centers of the capital.
The contract sealed with the company Lude Gestiones y Servicios S.L, is for a period of four years, extendable for another two, while the budget for the award amounts to 790,634.74 euros, according to the City Council.
The City Council has highlighted that "the company has presented several improvements to the specifications, including: the performance of 300 hours of services at no cost to the City Council, surveillance and improvement of the roofs of the centers and the painting of the corridors and common areas." In addition, it has stressed that "the company presented the best organizational project for the service".
