The Department of Mobility and Transportation, led by Councilor Mario González Altube, reminds that this Saturday, March 1, will also offer the free shuttle service to attend the Carnival Day. The Municipal Government, led by Mayor Yonathan de León, has established a special service of the Urban Buses of Arrecife, through a continuous shuttle, which will travel the maritime front of the capital of Lanzarote during these two Saturdays of Carnival Day.
The buses of Arrecife will operate again this Saturday, March 1, as it did last weekend. Between 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday a shuttle will operate from the bus station stops, next to the theme park in El Reducto, passing through the stops of the Gran Hotel, Arrecife City Hall, and Puerto de Naos, in the area next to the Monument to the Victims of the Cruz del Mar.
The establishment of this circuit, according to Councilor Mario González, "aims to ensure that citizens use public transport during this Saturday, parking vehicles in the large parking lots next to the esplanade of the Theme Park, and the municipal land next to Ginory, in the Charco de San Ginés, a few steps from Puerto de Naos, which will be the epicenter of the Arrecife carnival in 2025".
Mario González Altube estimates that, during this Saturday, March 1, "this special service may register greater demand as the events take place in the El Almacén area, and the second Saturday of Carnival Day, in Puerto de Naos".
