Alternativa Ciudadana has asked the Demarcación de Costas to be informed about some works that are being carried out in the Muelle Chico located under the Hotel Fariones in Puerto del Carmen. The political group wants to know the type of project that is being carried out, the legal situation of this dock, if there is any type of concession on it, for how long it was granted and to whom.
On the other hand, from Alternativa Ciudadana also requests that if there is any type of concession in said area, it be revoked since, according to them, the area is currently privatized for the exclusive use of hotel clients.
The request from the political party, which has also been sent to the Tías City Council, arises after a member of the party saw a boat and a zodiac in the area on July 10 that were apparently depositing large concrete blocks on the seabed. Thus, Alternativa Ciudadana's data indicates that the director of the Hotel Fariones would have presented a project for the repair of the dock's breakwater to the Demarcación de Costas.
