902 Inalsa is the new telephone service number of the Public Water Company

From now on, when there is a problem with the water system in homes, you can call a new telephone number, 902 Inalsa. It is a number "easy to remember, since the alphabetic characters coincide with the numeric ones on the telephone", explained Mario Pérez, CEO of Inalsa. It is, in short, another customer service number that coincides with 902462572. So that citizens remember this number, Pérez commented that an extensive advertising campaign will be carried out and that stickers will be distributed to users.

This new customer service telephone number will not be completely free, although the CEO of Inalsa explained that it will be much less expensive than the other telephone lines and that there will be no saturation of calls when they occur simultaneously.

In addition, the public water company has also created "a service charter". Mario Pérez explained that this letter responds to the "commitment to which our administration department submits with respect to the suggestions, complaints, demands, claims and complaints of our subscribers". In this way, Inalsa undertakes to respond to claims in less than a month from their receipt and to process information requests immediately, "within a generic period of one day and a maximum of three business days", commented Pedro Martín, head of this Modernization Plan.

Finally, the third action presented is a "monthly electronic bulletin". The creation of the newsletter responds to the need to "connect the company with users, the seven town halls, the Cabildo, the Inalsa departments, the companies that supply us, etc."

These measures are intended to "achieve the modernization and optimization of the company's management". To this end, the public water company believes that it must satisfy the needs of users, "having the most advanced technological means". In addition, Mario Pérez has stated that they are pursuing a recognition of "well-known prestigious brands such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or OSHAS 18001".

Possible modification of the statutes

Regarding the announcement made public yesterday of the possible modification of the Inalsa statutes, Inés Rojas, president of the Cabildo, added that it is true "that the proposal is being seriously studied, which has been presented in the Assembly by some of the mayors". The reason for this change in the internal guidelines of the public water company "is to close the door so that certain decisions that are made in the company have to go through the owners of Inalsa, which are the seven town halls and the Cabildo. And thus, not to find ourselves in situations like the ones we are experiencing right now".
