The timple player Yone Rodríguez, from Agaete (Gran Canaria), presented his third album "Vivo" last Friday at the Casa Museo del Timple in Teguise. This album was recorded live in October 2012 at the Guiniguada Theater in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
With "Vivo", Yone Rodríguez presents a total of eleven compositions and has collaborated with the Basque musician Kepa Junkera and also with his great friend and battle partner Néstor García.
The timple player offered an intimate concert in Teguise, which took place in one of the exhibition halls. The public enjoyed the compositions selected by this musician, who was accompanied on electric bass by Néstor García and on piano by Julio César Suárez.
Before the end of the concert, he surprised by calling the musician and timple player Benito Cabrera, who was enjoying the performance. Thus, together they performed a musical piece, which was highly applauded by the public.
Yone Rodríguez recorded his first album entitled "La Otra Orilla" when he was only 12 years old. In 2009, he recorded his second album "Colores" and has now just presented "Vivo".
