Once again, with these traditional Christmas holidays arriving, San Bartolomé inaugurated the Nativity Scene, located in the square, in front of the El Porvenir Society. The Portal has been made by municipal workers under the direction of the local designer, César Corujo. It reflects the main real estate of the town and is made entirely with recycled material of all kinds.

A good group of neighbors attended the Christmas event together with members of the Corporation, such as the mayor, María Dolores Corujo, who wished greater prosperity for the coming year. The event featured the performance of the Municipal Choir, directed by Mariola Ferrer, who presented a very entertaining repertoire for the occasion. The Municipal Band also performed. Both groups joined together with the theme "Silent Night", as the culmination of the first municipal Christmas event.

In Playa Honda, on Sunday the representation of the living Nativity Scene took place in the Santa Elena square. In this act, the Al-Andalus Rociero Choir and the Municipal School of Folklore performed. The choir performed flamenco carols such as "La Virgen Gitana", "Carita Divina or "Con azúcar y canela", while the Municipal School of Folklore sang carols such as "Una sobre el mismo mar", "Silencio Pastores" or "Ha nacido un niño".

In this town, the Princesa Ico neighborhood association has organized a collection of non-perishable Christmas products, which will continue until the 26th. The products can be delivered to the Playa Honda health center or to the association's headquarters, in the Santa Elena square.
