The outbreak unleashed in a gym in Arrecife has added another 25 cases and already accumulates 127, after the screening that has been carried out among the users and workers of the center. In total, 68 cases are directly related to sports activity and the remaining 59 correspond to family, social and work ramifications.
Until this Monday, Health had already confirmed 102 cases associated with this outbreak, although the latest samples taken on Sunday were still pending analysis. In total, only within the screening to determine the scope of the outbreak, 1,382 PCRs were performed.
In addition, tests could now continue on close contacts of the latest people who have tested positive. And it is that in addition to the infections among gym users, cases among their close people also continue to grow, having now even reached the workplace of some of them.
