The funeral mass for Guayo Rodríguez, councilor of the Popular Party in the Yaiza City Council and advisor in the Arrecife City Council, will take place this Friday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the Santa María de la Vega church.
Guayo Rodríguez, 50 years old, who died in the early hours of this Sunday, April 6 after suffering a heart attack. His death caused a commotion on the island and many people wanted to express messages of affection and support towards his family.
Rodríguez was an affable, fun-loving man, in love with his family, politics and a faithful follower of carnivals. He was appreciated by all his training partners and those of other parties. He also left a mark in the sports world where he made great friends.
He left behind his wife, Silvia Oubiña and two children, Laura and Alejandro.
