Guayo, 50 years old, passed away in the early hours of this Sunday, April 6 after suffering a heart attack. "I lost a brother, he was like family to me," lamented his party and corporation colleague Juan Monzón.
Rodríguez was an affable, fun-loving man, in love with his family, politics and a faithful follower of carnivals. He was appreciated by all his training partners and those of other parties. He also leaves his mark in the sports world where he leaves great friends.
He leaves behind his wife, Silvia Oubiña, and two children, Laura and Alejandro. The wake will be from 6:00 p.m. this Sunday at the Enalta funeral home and the funeral will be this Monday at 12:30 p.m.
The president of the Popular Party, Astrid Pérez, has expressed her sadness for his death: "A wonderful person has left us. Affectionate, hardworking, good person. I loved him and I will miss him very much because he was a magnificent colleague and a friend."
