La Villa de Teguise once again hosted a new edition of the Canarias Surf Film Festival (CSFF) at the Municipal Theater. Over the weekend, more than 200 people attended screenings related to surfing and conferences by "those most knowledgeable in the field, such as Mingo Padrón and Yeray García," according to the City Council.
"Two nights of film screenings, which were held thanks to the commitment of the Youth area," explains the Consistory. "The youngest ones were also able to enjoy other activities parallel to the event, such as a skate workshop by The Extrema Center," they add.
The councilor responsible for the area, Sara Bermúdez, highlights "the presence of Padrón as a surfing legend and resident of La Villa and the good atmosphere that was breathed in the two days, with great reception from the attending public, who had the opportunity to share their passion for a leading sport in Teguise and Lanzarote."
In addition, Bermúdez has expressed "the intention to develop the festival in later editions with days that are completed with more activities and thus show the most cultural part of the world and surfing lifestyle."
