This Thursday, August 24, the municipality of San Bartolomé celebrated its big day. At 12 o'clock the Solemn Religious Function and Procession of the Saint took place through the streets of the town accompanied by the Municipal Band of San Bartolomé, with fireworks in honor of the Patron Saint. The Solemn Eucharist was presided over by Don Segundo Díaz Santana, professor emeritus of the ISTIC AND Episcopal Delegate of Consecrated Life. The mass was also sung by the choir directed by José Hernández.

As every year, the Religious Function and Procession, had a large influx of neighbors and authorities, highlighting the presence of the mayor of San Bartolomé, María Dolores Corujo and municipal corporation, accompanied by numerous authorities from all areas (City Councils, representation of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Government of the Canary Islands, Parliament of the Canary Islands, Senator for Lanzarote, Military Authorities, etc.) who wanted to join the celebration of the Great Day of the municipality.

San Bartolomé concludes the patron saint festivities with "enormous success in participation, the mayoress and councilor of festivities thanking all the people who have collaborated in the different organized events, the associations, clubs, groups and businesses that have been involved in these celebrations, as well as the workers and security and civil protection forces for the work done".
