New record of infections in Lanzarote with 227 positive cases of Covid, as reported by the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Active cases rise to 992 on the island after registering only 2 medical discharges in the last 24 hours.

The accumulated incidence at 7 days has skyrocketed to 482.63 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, with an increase of almost 100 points compared to the previous day. At 14 days it is already at 678.38 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, also with an increase of almost 140 points compared to Wednesday.

Regarding diagnostic tests, this Thursday 1,770 were carried out, some 400 more than the previous day.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,801 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 7,756 have already overcome the disease and 54 have died.
