New record of daily infections in Lanzarote, with 429 positive cases registered on the last day

Lanzarote breaks a new record of infections in one day, with 429 positives registered this last day, according to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Active cases now amount to 2,726 in the last 24 hours after 93 medical discharges occurred.

The accumulated incidence at 7 days continues to increase to 1,315.69 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. At 14 days it is already at 2,006.26 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 200 points more than the previous day.

Regarding the tests carried out, this Monday 1,766 were carried out, a much higher amount than the previous day when 996 were carried out.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 11,433 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 8,652 have already overcome the disease and 56 have died
