The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Waste Area, coordinated by Hugo Delgado, has collaborated in the collection of a new sheet of 'solidarity caps'. With it, this year, just over 10,000 kilograms of caps have been collected, with the aim of helping families in need through their altruistic recycling.
Together with Lanzarote Recicla, Urbaser and the Iraitza Tapones Solidarios Association, this campaign is carried out in educational centers on the Island, with the aim of helping children with functional diversity. "From the Cabildo of Lanzarote, we are committed to this great work that does not represent an expense to the citizens and provides great benefits for those families who need help to improve their quality of life. This amount will be allocated to the minor Gabriel Padilla to continue with the realization of his therapies in the peninsula and to Sofía for the acquisition of a new adapted chair to improve her mobility," explained Hugo Delgado.
The caps, which have been delivered from Lanzarote Recicla, are part of the educational campaigns that are carried out in public and private centers of the Islands.
