With the third edition of "Menudos Timplistas", the program of events held during this year at the Casa-Museo del Timple in Teguise was closed. The event took place in the Santo Domingo convent of Teguise on Sunday morning, in which a total of 12 young timple promises and a guitarist who were accompanied by their teachers participated.

The event began with the performance of the students of the Tías Music School directed by the professor, José Vicente Pérez, followed by the students of the School of Professor Gabriel Cuba from the town of Tinajo. Next, the students of the Folklore School of Tahíche directed by Professor Fefo Pérez took the stage, followed by the students of the Timplista, Benito Cabrera, and it ended with the students of the Toño Corujo School.

They all demonstrated that they are already more than "Menudos Timplistas", since in their interventions they managed to captivate the present public who did not stop applauding them and expressing themselves with encouraging compliments for how well they were doing with ease and confidence as authentic "Masters", with an extensive career. They all performed compositions with Canarian roots where the timple became the voice of the concert since there was only one sung intervention by the young Raúl Caraballo Santos belonging to the Folklore School of Tahíche. Caraballo performed some folías and malagueñas that made the public reward them with their applause.

The organizer of the event, Benito Cabrera, participated with a Cuban timplista and a timplista from the island of El Hierro. Also participating in this edition was the professor and writer, Ernesto Rodríguez Abad, who with great mastery made several interventions telling some of the stories from the tales he has published. In this way, he easily managed to involve not only the children present in his narrations but also their parents and grandparents. And Ernesto Rodríguez explained to them with such emphasis and sweetness that everyone rewarded him with their applause.

Minutes before the end, Benito Cabrera Commissioner of the Casa-Museo del Timple and the Councilor for Culture of the Teguise City Council, Olivia Duque addressed those present to thank them for their presence and attendance at the activities and concerts carried out during the year at the Casa-Museo. The event ended with the family photo with the teachers and students.
