Maritime Rescue rescued a boat with 50 migrants, 49 men and one woman, in the early hours of this Sunday, September 21, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center.

The rescue was carried out by the Salvamar Polimnia at around 4.38 minutes about 54 miles northeast of Arrecife. At around 7 in the morning they arrived at Puerto Naos where they were assisted by the Red Cross.

This is the second precarious boat that has reached the coasts of Lanzarote so far this week. Last Friday a zodiac was intercepted in which 53 men and four women were traveling.
