The Social and Cultural Association for women of Lanzarote, Mararía, returns this Christmas to appeal "to the generous spirit of the island's population, to contribute to the happiness of the dates in vulnerable homes."
As every year since its inception, the feminist group has started a toy collection for the children of its most disadvantaged users, thanks to the selfless collaboration of individuals, organizations and companies.
On this occasion, in addition to the economic contribution involved in the acquisition of gifts, Mararía has had to apply the anticovid measures established for these situations, with the requirement to deliver the toys in their original packaging.
In addition, the deposit must be made from December 2 to January 2 at the association's headquarters, at 24 Fajardo Street, by appointment, which will be given by telephone through the numbers 928 804 834 or 630 856 076. The Deiland Shopping Center, the ToyPlanet toy company and the Moteros de Lanzarote club collaborate with the solidarity initiative.
