Lanzarote and La Graciosa wake up with 18 towns without water in the face of the indignation of their residents: "It's a joke"

This Tuesday, the lack of supply affects six of the island's seven municipalities

Canal Gestión has reported on its website water cuts in 18 towns of Lanzarote and La Graciosa on this Tuesday, a situation that occurs in the middle of a heat wave that has left up to 42 degrees in some areas such as Tías.

In the northern part of the island, the town of Haría has woken up this day without water supply, as have the towns of San Bartolomé, Güime, El Islote and Tomaren.

For its part, in the municipality of Teguise, the areas of Las Nieves and Tao also have no water, as well as Pedro Barba on the island of La Graciosa.

Also, the towns of El Cuchillo, La Costa, Tajaste, La Santa, La Vegueta, Mancha Blanca and Tinguatón in the municipality of Tinajo have woken up without water.

In the southern part of Lanzarote, the towns of Mácher, in Tías, and the town of Yaiza and Uga, also have no supply.

Given this situation, one of the residents of Tahíche affected by the continuous water cuts, has contacted La Voz assuring that "the situation is already a joke, we have been Sunday and Monday without water with a horrible heat".
