The singer from Lanzarote, Gloria Sepúlveda, gave, in the opinion of the group, a "brilliant" performance in which she performed a song entitled "Es mi madre", which the young artist dedicated to her mother. Gloria competed with eight other singers from the different islands, however, this year, the mechanics of the program have changed and of all of them, only four would be the favorites. Two of those favorites went directly to the semifinal of the program, and two others remained in challenge. Gloria Sepúlveda is one of those two contestants along with Jacobo, another of the program's favorites according to the association. Therefore, the José Vélez Friends Association asks for support and votes so that the singer can move on to the next phase.

The president of the group, Ismael Montero, says that "the vote of everyone is very important since it is the only way for Gloria to move forward and reach the grand final", he explains.
