The Doctor Molina José Molina Orosa Hospital in Lanzarote bid farewell this past Thursday in Lanzarote to the nurse Elena Rivera del Valle, who has been the supervisor of Internal Medicine at the hospital for the last 30 years.
Elena Rivera was "one of the nurses who opened" the doors to this hospital center on the island. This healthcare worker was "always linked" to the Internal Medicine Unit, has lived through "all the stages of the center" and accumulates "memory, experiences, anecdotes, patient stories, difficult moments and others full of joy."
In an "emotional and warm" farewell, they indicated that Rivera has always been linked to the Internal Medicine area, "has lived through all the stages of the center and accumulates in her memory experiences, anecdotes, patient stories, difficult moments and others full of joy."
The healthcare workers at the hospital center have pointed out her great responsibility, her capacity for dedication and organization, and the commitment that she "has always dedicated to making patients feel good."
Likewise, the hospital center has highlighted that as a supervisor, she "has been the soul of Internal Medicine, she has taken care of her team with care, always with a smile and a word of encouragement in the most difficult moments. Perhaps that is why yesterday they said that they feel a bit orphaned."
Finally, the Molina Orosa has indicated that "after so many years of commitment and dedication, we can only thank you for having contributed to making our hospital a better place for everyone."
