The British airline Jet2, which transports thousands of travelers from the United Kingdom to Lanzarote every week, has announced the launch of its first business class configuration on an airplane.

The Boeing 737-800, based in Liverpool, will be available for VIP charter flights between October 2026 and May 2027, and responds to customer demand for more privacy and comfort during flights.

The Director of Charter Flights and Airlines Sales at Jet2, Trevor Caplis, said about it: “It is a very exciting development, both for Jet2 and for our charter flight customers. The business configuration represents a radical change, and we anticipate it will be very well received”.

Customers who book a seat on this plane will have at least 109 centimeters of legroom. The plane is usually configured with 189 seats, but it has been reduced to 76. High-end catering options are also offered on board, which can be adapted to each customer's needs.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are selling their 2027 summer holidays earlier than ever before, after launching their Summer Sun programme from their 13 UK airports, allowing customers and independent travel agents to book in advance.

With flights and vacation packages to 59 sun and beach tourist destinations available, the Summer Sun 2027 program from the leading leisure airline and the UK's largest tour operator represents more than 19 million seats for sale and 470 routes.
