Daily Covid cases have risen again in Lanzarote, which has added 48 positives in the last day, despite the fact that fewer tests were carried out this Tuesday than the previous day, after which 28 new positives were reported.
Specifically, 296 PCRs were performed this Tuesday on the island compared to the more than 380 that were performed on Monday, increasing the positivity rate to 13.2%.
However, despite the increase in infections, the island remains with 774 active cases, since in the last 24 hours 48 discharges have also been reported.
The accumulated incidence has also decreased, being 207.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days and 509.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 days.
The island accumulates 4,086 cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 3,287 have overcome the disease and 25 have died.
