The escalation of Covid infections continues in Lanzarote, which this Wednesday has registered another record figure, with 536 positives in one day. As for discharges, 181 have been confirmed in the last day, so the Ministry of Health places the active cases on the island at 5,171.
The accumulated incidence has risen again to 7 days and this Wednesday stands at 1,572.41 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 2,983.08.
This Tuesday 1,400 diagnostic tests were carried out, a figure similar to the previous day.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 14,402 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 9,173 have already overcome the disease and 59 have died, the last one this Tuesday.
