Constantine of Greece dies at the age of 82. The father of Alexia of Greece and father-in-law of Carlos Morales from Lanzarote, had serious health problems for months and spent his last days in a hospital in Athens.
Constantine II was King of Greece from 1964 to 1973. According to La Provincia, "his life was marked by the loss of the throne and exile" and "he lost Greek nationality in 1994 when he refused to have a passport with his Danish surname."
From La Provincia they point out that he spent his last days "surrounded by his family".
