Maritime Rescue rescued a new boat near the coast of Lanzarote, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The boat was intercepted at around 8:30 p.m. and 41 people were traveling on it, including 7 women and one minor. All the migrants are of sub-Saharan origin.
The interception was carried out in international waters, 15 NM, E of the island of Lanzarote. Maritime Rescue transferred them to Puerto Naos where they were assisted by the Red Cross.
The NGO transferred two occupants of the boat to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital for various pathologies.
