The Salvamar Urania has rescued in the early hours of this Thursday, August 20, a new precarious boat with about 110 people on board, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The rescue took place around 5 in the morning, 59 miles northeast of the coast of Lanzarote. Initial information suggests that the occupants of the boat are of Maghrebi and Sub-Saharan origin.
With this, it is the third boat to arrive on the island in less than 24 hours. In total, 240 migrant people, including women and minors, have disembarked in Puerto Naos.
