A precarious boat with 44 male migrants has been intercepted and transferred to the Puerto Naos dock. It is the first inflatable boat intercepted this Thursday in Lanzarote.

The Coast Guard has transferred the survivors to the dock around 1:40 p.m. All are in apparent good health, so no hospital transfer has been necessary.

During midday, the Red Cross has been activated to provide assistance at the foot of the port.

With this rescue, there would be five boats that have arrived in Lanzarote this week. This represents a significant decrease in the number of arrivals compared to last week, with a total of approximately 218 people rescued during this week.
