Meet the winners of the Meetings FesTVal awards to be held in Lanzarote

The closing gala will take place on Saturday, June 21, at 8:00 p.m. at the Arrecife Gran Hotel & Spa

The Gran Hotel Arrecife will host the second edition of the FesTVal Lanzarote Awards next Saturday, June 21 at 8:00 p.m. as the closing of the Meetings FesTVal Lanzarote conferences that are taking place this week on the island.

The awards aim to distinguish the career of professionals in the audiovisual sector as well as the impact and transcendence of outstanding television formats in the current scene.

The gala will award:

Ramón Campos

Born in Noia in 1975, Ramón Campos, a film and television screenwriter who took his first steps in Galician television, is today one of the most important names in the audiovisual industry. His professional career is linked to productions that have managed to attract the public such as 'Gran Hotel', 'Galerías Velvet', 'Fariña', 'El caso Asunta' or 'Cómo cazar a un monstruo', among many others, and that are currently sold in countries such as Denmark, Mexico, Russia, France, the United Kingdom and the USA, among others. His involvement in the projects covers the entire process: from the generation of the idea and its sale to the assembly. With restlessness in his veins and a desire to expand his talent, in 2019 he created Mr Fields and Friends, a label under which the films Malasaña 32 and El verano que vivimos are released.

In 1975 he began his professional career in radio, at Voz de Madrid simultaneously with his Journalism studies. He has dedicated a large part of his professional career to Televisión Española (TVE). His career has encompassed various roles and throughout his extensive professional career, he has been Director of Sports, Director of Sports Content and Head of Sports of the News area at TVE, as well as a member of the board of directors of the Madrid Press Association and a member of the jury of the Laureus Sports Awards. During this time he has won the Ondas award twice and also the Antena de Oro.

Purificación González

If anyone knows anything about communication on television, about how to develop campaigns to place and promote an audiovisual product, that someone is Purificación González, at the head of communication and marketing as CMO of Movistar Plus+ since 2015. Purificación began in digital journalism more than 25 years ago. Ex Vocento, Ex Prisa began in the audiovisual industry at CNN+. Ex Canal+ where she assumes the editorial direction of the platform and moves to the corporate and product communication sector, innovating formats and developing a differential model in the market due to her creative vision and editorial criteria.

'100% ÚNICOS' is a format by Shine Iberia (A Banijay Company) for Mediaset that is much more than a television format. Roberto Herrera

He began his television career collaborating in Canarian carnival programs for RTVE. In addition, he also worked on Canal 9 and Televisión Canaria. In 1999, Roberto Herrera finally joined RTVE Canarias, where he presented 'Ven y quédate' for five years, one of the most popular magazines on regional television at the time and a format that launched him to fame.
His debut in the broadcast of the New Year's Eve Campanadas took place in 2001 together with Eloísa González, which also became the first that RTVE made from the Canary Islands. In addition, the presenter regularly hosts various charity and carnival galas. In fact, he was the first host of the Gala Drag Queen of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1998 and has repeated on 11 other occasions.

Gran Prix and Carlo Boserman

He is the general director of EuroTV Producciones. In 1993 the program '¿Qué apostamos?' premiered in Spain, presented by Ramón García and Ana Obregón. It was a triumph on television, it was broadcast for seven years and was directed by Francesco Boserman, brother of the executive who produced it, Carlo Boserman.
Two years later, the brothers proposed another format to RTVE, the 'Gran Prix', where two towns of less than 5,000 inhabitants faced each other in each installment in search of the final prize. The space returned in 2024 to TVE with the name 'Gran Prix del verano'.

'Terrero y gloria' (RTVC)

It offers every Sunday the historical and current struggles in the tradition of the vernacular sport of the Canary Islands, a unique and unique sport in the world, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. Directed by Willy Rodríguez Calero, the space rescues historical confrontations and finals that are recorded in the collective memory of the fans.
