The Ministry of Economy, Industry, Knowledge and Self-Employed of the Government of the Canary Islands has announced the XIV Edition of the Canary Islands Award for Business Excellence, an initiative that seeks to publicly recognize the commitment of companies in the Archipelago to quality, innovation and excellence in management.

The call, open until June 2, 2025, is aimed at companies with effective headquarters in the Canary Islands that have not been awarded in the last two editions. The award has three modalities: Medium and Large Company; Small Industrial Company and Small Non-Industrial Company.

The Vice President of the Government of the Canary Islands and Minister of Economy, Industry, Commerce and Self-Employed, Manuel Domínguez, encouraged Canarian companies to apply for this new call. "The Canary Islands has a committed, innovative and resilient business fabric. This award is a way to make that effort visible and to project models of excellence that serve as inspiration to other companies."

This award, which does not carry an economic endowment but does carry an important institutional and social recognition, has become established as a prestigious distinction for participating companies, boosting their visibility and reputation both in the regional environment and in national and international markets.

The evaluation process is based on the principles of the European Business Excellence Model, and includes criteria such as obtaining certifications, the implementation of CSR management systems and the development of R&D&I projects. Interested companies can submit their application through the electronic headquarters of the Government of the Canary Islands, attaching the application, a justification report and a self-assessment form.

All documentation can be submitted in digital format and there is no limit to the number of files. The awards ceremony will be held in the autumn of 2025.
