For more than a decade, CEIP Costa Teguise has set out to raise awareness and value the primary sector of our island among students. On the one hand, with the implementation and maintenance of an ecological school garden and the introduction of farm animals, which over time have passed through its facilities.

In recent years, the center was equipped with an incubator, which favors that students see the entire process of incubation and hatching of chicks. This year, the novelty of streaming the birth of the chicks has been introduced. Once the animals have grown, they are given to the farmers of Lanzarote, so that they can continue with their care.

This experience, in addition to enriching the students in all its aspects, at the curricular and competence level, gives diffusion and knowledge of the respect and care of animals, something crucial on this island.

Through the link, you can see the streaming broadcast of the birth of the chicks.
