Singer Aitana Ocaña was the guest this Wednesday on the La 1 program La Revuelta where, in addition to talking about her new documentary Aitana Metamorphosis, she also addressed mental health and how she was diagnosed with depression

During the interview with David Broncano, she said that she "began to feel bad and not want to get out of bed", so she decided to go on a week-long trip to Lanzarote alone in November.

"I had never taken a trip alone and I was in a brutal house, I had a hard time getting out of bed and I was feeling bad but I didn't know what was happening to me until I came back from the trip," she revealed.

As a result of this trip, the artist considered aspects of her life and her career. "I thought that maybe I wasn't good for this and that I had to dedicate myself to something else," she pointed out.

In addition, she continued saying that she is currently "in the process of getting better because this is not cured overnight and I am on medication but I am fine."

In her interview, she also emphasized that, "despite having everything", she felt bad. "It was very difficult for me to tell my parents how sad I am because I feel like I don't deserve to be sad, but I'm always in the dispute of smiling at everyone but getting home and not stopping crying," she said.
