A woman was injured on Friday afternoon after suffering a fall on the Charco Verde viewpoint path, in the town of El Golfo, within the municipality of Yaiza.
According to the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the alert was received through the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) at approximately 6:15 PM, activating a level 2 operation. Several emergency resources were dispatched to the scene.Upon arrival, officers located the injured person and performed an initial assessment, detecting a fractured ankle. Subsequently, with the arrival of medical personnel, the limb was immobilized with a splint and the patient was stabilized on a spinal boardFinally, the woman was transferred by ambulance to receive medical attention, with a unit from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) present during the operation
