The Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium has reported the intervention of firefighters in two fires that occurred between Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
The first of the incidents took place at 11:34 p.m. on Wednesday on Hoyo de Fuera street, in Playa Blanca, where the personnel of the South and Central Park were alerted by the CECOES. Once on the scene, and in the presence of the Local Police and the Civil Guard, they verified that the fire affected a rigid boat of about six meters in length located in the lot of a house. The fire was initially extinguished with water and later with foam.

The second fire occurred at 1:30 a.m. this Thursday on Cribo street, in Arrecife. On this occasion, the fire affected a trash can, spreading to the park floor and also reaching a vehicle that was parked next to it. The firefighters extinguished the flames using water both in a jet and sprayed.
