The Civil Guard of the post of San Bartolomé arrested on the 8th and 14th three people related to a robbery in a house in Playa Honda that took place last December. They are D.A.T.F., 49 years old, D.J.G.H, 42 years old, and L.G.S.C, 33 years old, all of Spanish nationality. One of them would have stolen from that house a large amount of "airsoft material", a strategy game based on military simulation, while the other two were arrested for the purchase and sale of those objects. Among the stolen objects, whose value the Civil Guard estimates at 7,000 euros, there were five simulated weapons, scopes, glasses and vests.

At the beginning of this month, the Civil Guard learned of a person in the town of Playa Honda who had acquired a scope, used in the practice of airsoft, "at a price significantly lower than the market price and through individuals." The agents then verified that they were stolen objects and arrested this person for an alleged crime of receiving stolen goods, later arresting another person for the purchase of the described material.

These two arrests for the crimes of receiving stolen goods allowed the Benemérita to gather more information and, after continuing with the investigations, this Tuesday the Civil Guard of San Bartolomé arrested L.G.S.C., who has "police records against property" as the alleged perpetrator of the crime of robbery with the aforementioned scale.

Likewise, the Civil Guard has been able to recover a large quantity of the stolen effects, delivering them to their legitimate owner. From the police force they emphasize that the purchase of stolen products, in addition to constituting a possible crime of receiving stolen goods – punishable by prison sentences of 6 months to two years-, "could encourage the commission of this type of criminal acts." The detainees have been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court, on guard duty, in the town of Arrecife.
