The perpetrator of the assault on the young Italian Salvatore Sinagra has been arrested

He is a Canary Islander with a long criminal record. The Civil Guard arrested him on Saturday night.

The Civil Guard of Lanzarote has arrested the alleged perpetrator of the assault on the young Italian Salvatore Sinagra. The arrest took place at approximately 11:00 p.m. this Saturday.

The aggressor, a 25-year-old Canary Islander with a criminal record, was arrested on February 1 at 11:40 p.m., as explained in a press release by the Benemérita.

In addition, he will be brought before the duty court in Arrecife along with the police proceedings.

The assault took place on January 26 in Puerto del Carmen, where Salvatore Sinagra suffered serious injuries after receiving several punches.

The 30-year-old victim was transferred to the Doctor Negrín Hospital in an induced coma due to a cerebral hematoma.
