The National Police Station in Arrecife received last weekend, among many other complaints, certification from four citizens who claimed to have been victims of robberies with force.
A police statement explains that one of these robberies occurred in an industrial warehouse on the rear avenue of Los Mármoles where, breaking the main door and prying the lock, they stole 500 euros in cash, ten boxes of sausages and a printer.
In another robbery, the perpetrators forced the premises of the Arrecife Football Club where they caused significant damage to the tobacco vending machine and the cash register, stealing 300 euros in cash and 174 tickets for the National Lottery Christmas draw.
In another incident, the Police received another complaint for robbery at a construction site on the Vía Medular where, where the perpetrators jumped the perimeter fence, cut and stole 125 meters of electrical cable, two concrete mixers and two electric saws, in addition to stealing various tools.
In the last robbery, several items were taken from inside a vehicle parked behind Puerto Rico street in Arrecife, also seizing a wallet with 100 euros and personal documentation of the complainant.
