The man who was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor in a bar in Tahíche was banned from entering the establishment. This has been confirmed to La Voz by the owner of the business, who prefers to remain anonymous.
According to the version of the owner of the premises, the man, a regular in the town, uttered racist insults to him. In addition, several minors complained about how he looked at them. As a result of this situation, they decided to ban his entry.
After that conflict, the next time that man entered the cafeteria was last Thursday, with a knife in his hand. Always according to the worker's version.
Around 9:00 p.m. last Thursday, agents from the Teguise Local Police responded to a warning call. Two minors had allegedly been sexually assaulted by an adult man near the Tahíche Society.
After being allegedly threatened with a knife and suffering sexual touching, the minors ran to a nearby bar, which is usually frequented by the young people of the town. Frightened, they entered the local toilet. "One of the girls was having an anxiety attack," the owner of the business told La Voz.
Before the owner discovered what was happening, the detainee tried to touch a baby who was being breastfed by his mother at the door of the premises. At that moment and after asking him not to touch the girl, the man showed a knife.
At that moment, and after learning the testimony of the minors, they decided to call the Local Police.
During the time they waited for the arrival of the agents, this merchant confronted the alleged aggressor so that he would not leave the area and could be arrested by the Local Police. In that interval of time, the parents of the minors also arrived.
