The Local Police of Teguise arrested during the night of last Thursday an adult man who allegedly had sexually assaulted a minor in Tahíche.
The events occurred around 9:00 p.m. this past Thursday, when a Local Police patrol appeared on Benito Pérez Galdós street, in front of a well-known cafeteria in the town. At the scene, the detainee would have allegedly "touched" a minor. This was reported to the Local Police by several witnesses who were at the scene at the time of the events.
The agents had to call a second Local Police patrol because the alleged aggressor was carrying a knife. The detainee is an adult man residing in Tahíche, but from Arrecife. After the arrest, the agents handed the man over to the Civil Guard.
So far, it is unknown if the possible victim has filed a complaint.
