Man injured in Los Charcones rescued

The GES helicopter has rescued a 32-year-old man after falling in the Los Charcones area, in Playa Blanca, as reported by CECOES. The man had fallen in a rocky area with difficult access, so his rescue with this aircraft was necessary.

The young man suffered moderate injuries and was evacuated to the firefighters' helipad in Arrecife where an ambulance from the SUC transferred him to the José Molina Orosa hospital.

Falls and accidents in Los Charcones occur with some frequency, as some bathers are routinely rescued after falling into the sea or falling on the rocks. It should be remembered that this area of the Lanzarote coast is very dangerous due to the state of the sea.

An ambulance from the SUC, EMERLAN, Civil Guard, Local Police and Emergency Consortium have traveled to the scene.
