A British tourist has been injured after being dragged by a wave in the Los Charcones area of Playa Blanca, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The affected person, 37 years old, had various traumas to his legs.
The accident occurred at around 7:00 p.m. when CECOES was alerted. Local Police officers, an ambulance from the SUC and firefighters have traveled to the scene.
When the firefighters arrived, they immobilized both legs with splints and then transferred him on a stretcher to the paved road where he was taken to the ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service. The paramedics stabilized him and evacuated him to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
