This digital newspaper has been able to confirm through the Councilor of the Police and Mayor of San Bartolomé, Marcial Martín, that a complaint has been filed for the kidnapping of a 14-year-old girl, when she went out to throw out the garbage, on Monday, September 10. After half an hour, the minor had not returned home, so the parents went out to look for her, since according to sources close to the family, for several months she had been receiving threats through mobile phone messages and email.

Apparently, the young woman was put into a vehicle in which there were about six or seven hooded boys and they left her near her house again, in the Quintero area, with bruises. Her parents, seeing that the girl was taking a long time to return, had alerted the Local Police and the Civil Guard, who appeared at the scene, since they had been forewarned of the threats she was receiving, and together with several neighbors who offered to collaborate, they began a search in the vicinity of the area.

An hour later, the girl contacted them through her mobile phone, informing them of her whereabouts. The security agents located her and transferred her to the General Hospital of Lanzarote. According to the medical report, the young woman had bruises on her body and there were no signs of rape. The Civil Guard is investigating the complaint filed, due to this case.
