The Local Police of San Bartolomé arrested a driver this Monday who tested positive for a breathalyzer test after driving in the wrong direction and crashing into a curb in the industrial area of Playa Honda. The man is charged with a crime against road safety, exceeding the rate of 0.60 milligrams per liter of exhaled air.
The incident occurred after eight in the evening, when the man left the roundabout at the entrance to Playa Honda in the opposite direction, in the direction of where vehicles come from Arrecife.
Fortunately, he did not cause any accidents with the rest of the cars, but ended up crashing into a curb on the road. This caused him to break the wheels and part of his vehicle, so he could not continue driving.

In addition to the Local Police, agents of the Civil Guard Traffic also came to the scene of the accident.
