The San Bartolomé City Council announced this Monday the incorporation of six new agents to the Local Police staff who will now patrol the streets of the municipality, a measure whose main objective is to strengthen security for the residents

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, accompanied by the Government group, welcomed the new agents in practice and points out that, with these incorporations, the Local Police staff now has 29 agents, replacing on the one hand the retirements that have occurred and, on the other hand, exceeding the number of troops that were previously available.

“Thanks to this reinforcement, we are not only responding to the security needs of the population and increasing our response and coverage capacity, but also to the needs of the Local Police Force itself so that they can carry out their work more comfortably and effectively,” the mayor stressed.

These agents, who will begin their work on the streets of the municipality soon, "join the efforts and initiatives of the City Council" to improve the safety of citizens through security cameras and devices deployed in the main events of San Bartolomé, among others.
